Welcome to the home of exceptional Epagneul Breton versatile bird dogs
Who We Are
We're Ric and Cindy, and we split our time between Ennis, Montana and Lake Havasu City, Arizona, two of the finest upland bird habitats in the country. Our French Brittanys (or EBs, as some call them) come with us, living the lifestyle they were bred for with access to miles of open country and wild birds in two completely different landscapes.
We're passionate about preserving the versatile, biddable nature of the French Brittany. Our breeding dogs come from respected lines including Ten Bar Ranch, du Bois Courcol, and Plum Creek. These proven foundations have produced generations of talented bird dogs.
Our dogs are our partners in the field and members of our family at home.

natural ability from day one
Our breeding program produces puppies with exceptional natural ability. From Tux and Trinity's 2024 litter, two puppies, Valkyrie and Venice, earned their TAN (Natural Ability) titles at just 9 months old. This early demonstration of hunting instinct speaks to the quality of genetics in our program.
VALKYRIE
This bold tricolor female earned her Natural Ability title at just 9 months old. Named for the Norse choosers of the slain, she lives up to her powerful name with confident hunting instincts.
venice
The litter favorite from day one, Venice combines the sweetest temperament with natural hunting ability that exceeds all her littermates. She proves you can have both: a loving companion and a powerhouse in the field.

How We Raise Big Sky Bretons Puppies

They experience both Montana and Arizona, building confidence and adaptability from day one. When you take home a Big Sky Bretons puppy, you're getting a head start on your future hunting companion.
